It is difficult to imagine what tragedy is happening to millions of migrant workers in India. I've spent a lot of time with some of them in the past 10 years. From one day to the next they lost their jobs. Many were paid between 1 and 4 euros a day. Now bus and train connections have been stopped in the last few days. Millions of women and men are now stuck in the big cities of India. They just want to go home to their families in the country.
