In his new series the Austrian photographer Mario Marino presents the traditional celebration of the arguably most famous village located by the Côte d’Azur: the legendary Bravade of Saint Tropez. It is part of an ancient tradition in the area of the Provence. The unique mix of historical costumes, summery scenery and vibrant street celebration spring to life in Marino’s black and white photographs. They are presented in a wonderful documentary series that not only enthuses the visitors of the exhibition but also honours the participants of the festivity.
